Hello Folks; This is an announcement that I have been given permission to print, however I will leave the details to those that have first hand information to present at a later date. Joe Maher and a student assistant while climbing at about 100' in the rain forest on the Isle of Colon in Panama late last month stirred up a hive of African Killer Bees and were very fortunate that the tree was on a road and a cab came by and got them to the hospital. Later they were transported to main hospital in Panama city where the young lady stayed for a couple of days and Joe stayed for 8 days. When he returns to the states he is to be with us in Nebraska so I am sure he will fill us in on all of the details. So Joe keep yourself safe! He is now back at Bocas and recovering. So until; Safety in and for the trees worldwide! Abe
