From an appeal by the Colorado Tree Coalition:
"Holly Tornado
On March 28th, 2007 the town of Holly in southeast Colorado was hit hard by a tornado. Trees in the path of the twister in the town park, along streets, at facilities and churches, and residences were all badly damaged and many have been and will be removed. The Colorado Tree Coalition would like to remind everyone that it maintains a donation fund called the Community Forestry Disaster Fund, and is set up to assist communities with restoring their community trees after natural disasters. If you’d like to make a donation to this fund please visit the CTC website at
www.coloradotrees.org
and click on the CTC Store link, then the Special Funds link to take you to the donation site. Thanks for supporting this very worthwhile fund. "
