The 11th Annual Georgia Arborist Association 2008 Tree Climbing Championships

March 01, 2008

In coordination with the International Society of Arboriculture

Southern Chapter, The Georgia Arborist Association will conduct this event.

Hello JG, Thanks for posting this information. I had the opportunity to visit and observe the competition a couple of years back here in Austin and It was very nice to see how friendly and competitive these guys/gals are. The exhibits were very informative and there were some vendors selling gear and supplies at very nice prices. I encourage all the local Recreational Tree Climbers to take time to visit some of the events and enjoy them. The Throw line competition was very impressive to see how accurate and the ways these guys can move a throw bag in a tree! Very Cool show. :laugh:
