They’re just too good to remain locked up for purchase only – so we’ve decided to make all issues (except one*) of TCI’s newsletters available for free!
Printed from 1987 through 1998, the Tree Climber and Tree Climbing newsletters record the history of TCI and recreational tree climbing in general. Invaluable information, debates, stories, and witticisms are just waiting to be discovered in their pages! They're written by tree climbing experts, enthusiasts, and critics, some of whose names you’ll be surprised to see!
TCI newsletters are currently still located in our webstore “Education†section. They’ll be there until Patty can develop a new place on the TCI website for these and other items for the curious and history-hungry tree climbing community. Use the usual ordering procedure (don’t forget to “confirm†your order) and you’ll receive an email with links to the .pdf of issues you want to download.
Browse, read, learn, and share your comments on our Forums--we’ve created a thread just for that purpose. Above all, enjoy!
Climb safe!
Patty and Peter Jenkins
* The only newsletter which will not be offered publicly is “Tree Climbing Methods.†Published in 1987, this issue teaches some climbing techniques that are out of date now and considered to be unsafe.
