"Traveler" beautiful old white oak in Gastonia NC was created by dogwood
Sunday a bunch of us got together for a climb in Gastonia, NC. "Traveler" is a white oak with a massive trunk, (9' diameter ABH) and an extraordinary structure. It is reputed to have been a meeting place during the Civil War. Thanks to Patty, and to Eddie Simril for inviting me.
