I've been experimenting with various type of throwlines and different weight throwbags, from the ever reliable Slickline to the dental floss known as Zing-It 1.75 mm. Up until today I 've been getting my best height and accuracy using 1.75 mm with a 12 oz throwbag. The downside is that the 1.75 mm line gets grabbed by bark easily and is rough on the hands during a long rope pull.

Today I did some throwing with 2.2 mm Zing-It and a 12 oz bag. What a difference! The stuff is much better to grab and my height and accuracy is improved over the skinny stuff. I've retired my 1.75 mm line as of today.

Great to know.
I'll give that a try also since I've been experimenting also.
I've been trying the Fling-it spectra line but couldn't get settled on the size and weight either.
Thanks.

Safe climbin.
