In September, 2005, Alex Shigo presented on tree biology at the PNW-ISA conference in Victoria, BC.
PlantAmnesty had a pair of Tree Sheriff boxer shorts made up, and as PA vice-president, I took them to the conference.
Alex graciously agreed to autograph the boxers. This one of a kind item is being made available in an open auction as a fund raiser to support PlantAmnesty.
As he was about to sign them, "Touch Trees", one young lady suggested the phrase, "Touch these". We all had a good laugh.
