Well... I did it. was created by Culinarytracker
I made the long awaited and expensive phone call today to Sherrill.

1 Custom ordered Lanyard Setup.

A.R.T. Possitioner
24' Blaze with a carabiner tight hand spliced eye in one end. (Had to order 27' to get it)
Cordura tubular webbing friction protector.

I'll just have to wait till Christmas now. Then I'm sure I'll post a full report :)

It's going to be a tree climbers Christmas for me :)

Congratulations on the purchase.

Carabiner tight, instead of the usual girth hitch sized eye splice.

Hand Spliced, instead of the grizzly splice they advertise with the lanyard, makes for a less likely to snag end.

Oh, sorry. I'd be tempted toward \"bobbin tight\" except the bobbins I've seen fit loose on the carabiner and in this case you'll want an attachment that stays put.

I want it to be as smooth as possible to be able to pull through a tight crotch or rough bark. That was why I didn't want the grizzly splice. I considered a thimble, but decided against it.
