Crows nest anyone? was created by TreeTramp
My fascination with sailing besides tree climbing leads me to sites like this one that is about the fasting sailboat that is racing in the America’s Cup.

The boat is a tri-hulled monster with a 90 foot tall mast that if given the chance to aloft would be equal to any climbing adventure.

So wondering about what the crew would use to secure themselves in the rigging I stumbled across this fine harness.

Does anyone have any insight on these?

I think the weight is zilch and the comfort mirrors some of the best lingerie.

Talk about lift and separate?

Looks like a Petzl Sama rock climbing harness to me. I use an earlier model for rock climbing and SAR. Nice harness. Due to it's ergonomic cut, it's very easy to move in and yes, it is nice and light.

Wouldn't want to hang in one for an extended period of time. Meant for fall pro and short term hangs only. Padding is minimal.

I think it would be every painful for the long sit times in tree climbing. How long do you guess this sailor would be up working on rigging? I'd guess not long. I find that after about two minutes hang-time in a harness with skinny leg straps like that I've had enough.

I'm sure it's a high-dollar creation...

The harness? No, about $60. If your talking about the tri-hull, THAT'S a different story altogether!
