Don't think I'll actually buy one, but might come in handy if you drop your line or saw from a tree.

Cool tool. Agreed, I wouldn't carry it on a regular basis but I can see it coming in handy for instance while tree camping (if it's daytime). I suppose you could attach a small LED light to use it for night retrievals. A grapnel works well for picking up anything on the ground that has something to snag.
