1/10th of an inch is way too thin and will need to be doubled up to even be worth the effort. Make two continuous bands so you can have one for each side of the pouch. To join the ends together a neat trick is to first insert a round bead into one end about two inches; then lube with alcohol and force the end with the bead into the other end as far as the bead will allow. Once inserted then work the bead to the middle of the joint and it will make one continous band. Girth hitch it to your pouch and then secure the other end to a fork and you have quadrupled your kinectic energy.

see you at the top,
dan

Ok, I'm calculating cross-sectional area...

5/8\" 1/8\" wall: 0.19635 sq-inch
1/2\" 1/8\" wall: 75% of 5/8-1/8
0.55 1/10\" wall: 72% of 5/8-1/8

Did I get that right?
