I'm not going to mention any names, Nick, but some people on this forum don't check their U2U messages very often!

So are you makeing a request or providing a hint? Being more specific could help.

As one who has missed several U2U messages, I'll mention again that I wish the reminders in the upper right corner were highlighted (like new postings on the board) using size, font, bold, color, icon - something.

Hmmmm, I have this wierd feeling that I should check my U2U!

Maybe a little window could pop up to notify us.

Or, we could just use this thread to remind people.

As I “pester” Treeman with the occasional U2U, I have found his reply time to be within one week. I just figure he’s a busy man. He always reply’s, it just takes a while. <grin>

As for U2U traffic…
I had expected this forum to go full flame thrower with this January 10th thing coming to a head. Both pro and con. Thus far the forum has been its usual passive self. I can only assume that U2U traffic MUST have picked up.

It’s kind of like the proverbial big white elephant sitting on the living room couch for all to see but no one at the tea-party says a word about it’s presence. Gee whiz boys, ya gotta’ vent a little, no?

None the less, I give ya’s credit where its due: It's an intelegent and well mannered group here indeed.

I will miss a few days, but I am usually up to date with my U2U's.

I actually don't get many of these messages. I do not think folks use them much here. Too bad. With that being said, maybe I should use them more myself, rather than just responding to messages sent me. .

Thanks for the reminder about the U2U's. I think I've only checked mine once before tonight. When I looked up in the corner, I had 4 waiting for me.
