Looking to learn in Ohio was created by wespowell
My wife, son, and myself would like to learn how to climb. I have looked around the web and cannot seem to find any instructors/schools/classes near us. The closest I have found is in georgia. Do any of you have suggestions on any place?

Thanks in advance!

I met with Jason Neumann at the Cincinnati Nature Center last month and he does several climbs each season. My understanding is that these are facilitated climbs and he does not teach. His climbs are very interesting though and include various educational focus points. The emphasis is on seeing the forest from a different perspective. You can check them out at www.cincynature.org At the very least, you can get up in a tree and see what fun it is.

Greetings Wes -

As of now it looks like some possible dates for the Ohio I.B.C. would be the last weekend in August. (28th-29th)
There is a min.age of 13 (for the I.B.C.) the parent must be taking the course and in the tree with the child at all times. Sorry :(

If this is something you are still interested in, or if anybody from the Cincinnati area is wanting T.C.I. training, please leave a message here or U2U.
You can also contact T.C.I. @ 404 377 3150
or 404 381 9571

Adventure-UP!!
Tim

Thanks
