Hi every treeclimbers friends,
how are you there, hope that you all fine after the Hurricane Katrina.
I need your help if possible.
In Lewisburg , Mandeville, there is the largest Live oak (200 fountain Street) of the States and the world.
Could you tell me if it is safe, and also the owners. If some of you can try to meet them, and tell me. Tell them that I think of them too.
If the oak still alive we will organize a slideshow under the tree, OK? and also the project is to ask your government to protect as world heritage this Live Oak.

If some of you can also go to Slidell, at Honey Island Swamp, one of my friend is there and has an ecotour. His name is Dennys Holmberg: http://www.gator-den.com/
Thank you in advance.
Bonne chance.
