Input from southeast U.S. climbers?

I'm active in the birding community, this request came across the wire:

Basically what the photos show are probable Ivory-billed Woodpecker feeding signs. The feeding diggings of Pileated WP are similar but much smaller in magnitude. If you have or do observe anything resembling the photos take pictures and forward to the contact info provided on the URL above.

It is possible that Ivory-billed WP is present in southeastern U.S. bottomland forest. Would be awesome if one of you came up with some clues. Some of these woodpecker signs could be high up in trees and not visible from the ground. Observation from tree climbers could prove to be invaluable.
