'Fun Climb' @ ITCC in Minneapolis

On Saturday afternoon I helped out with the Fun Climb. The climbers were mostly kids under 13 or so but there were some adults too. What fun the kids were having!

While I was helping one youngster into their saddle I hear a voice from behind me ask, "Do I need to use this loop or can I footlock?" The voice was a youngster so i had to turn and see who knew how to FL. The fella had on a helmet and sunglasses so I didn't recognize him right away. After a few seconds I saw that it was Luke Jepson, Jeff Jepson of 'Tree Climber's Companion' I told Luke he could FL and he dashed up the rope

I've known Luke since he was about 3 and we've climbed together at their home. It was really fun to see him going up the tree and doing some limb walking.

The last group through on Saturday was a load of fun! We were having fun teasing each other.
