Thanks for the holiday greetings!
It has been an enjoyably warm winter thus far.
I see lots of new members here at the TCI Forum. That’s nice! Participation here breeds safe new climbers.

In Other News. . .
A fellow I know from work fell out of a tree-stand last week. I was told he suffered very serious damage to his back & neck. I don’t know if he was with Jack Daniels or Jim Beam but it “is” hunting season and as statistics show, these things sometimes happen.

So. . .
Should I go on an off-topic rant about how wonderfully safe recreational tree climbing is when compared to other things people do in the woods?
Nah. Tiz the season to be jolly.

Climb safe this winter. After all, it is once again hunting season. Know the regulations for your area and wear orange, lots of it!

It is indeed nice to know we have a safe outlet from getting away from the everyday world adn even plug into our childhood.

I will open up a new topic on climbing safely during hunting season where folks sometimes shoot first and then discover what they shot.

Since this is officially the last Day of Work at my office for 2006 I want to post so That I can get the "Best Member Award"
I will be working on replacing the wood deck on the back of my house and possibly making some furniture/benches and planters. All in a day's fun.
