I'm one of the chefs at Cal-Wood (environmental education and retreat center in Boulder county, Colorado) and some of you were up there recently.

There's a poster that was beautiful, a handful of tree boats/tents with people in them, they had lights in them and it was twilight outside. They all seemed to be platforms of some sort surrounded by bug-net, a 'roof' to protect from vertical rain. Someone here must know the picture I'm talking about.

Please send me a link to the highest resolution of that picture (and any others that are similar) that you have access to. I do web design and 3D animations and /really/ want to add that picture and other similar ones to my collection of inspiration.

PS: I'm willing to do some free or really inexpensive work(web design) for this community, I will likely be a bit slow though. You were one of the best groups I ever fed, and helped a 'day at work with dad' be something incredibly fun for my daughters.

Hey Charlie, it's Moss the cart guy. The photo is by Boulder photographer Louie Psihoyos. His web site is built with frames so I can't link you to the photo in context, here is the frame containing the photo:
Gerry Beranek and friends in portaledges

Louie Psihoyos home page
In the left side nav click on "Features" then "Tree Climbing"

Here's Charlie and his daughters at the 'vous:

Thanks for the great food you guys/ladies provided us at the Rendezvous. Good Job! I hope to be able to visit the Cal-Wood Center one more time soon. Can you please send me the "last name" for Rafael the guy that works at the Center. Someone from my job used to work with him here in Texas before he moved to Colorado. I want to formally tell him thank you!!
Hope you can get the pictures that you are looking for.

Perfect! Thanks, Moss :)

Oldtimer, Rafael's last name is Salgado.

I'm glad you all enjoyed your stay and I hope you come back, you were one of the most fun groups I've seen there.

Hi Charlie,

It was wonderfully positive experience with the staff at Calwood, and it was especially enjoyable to get out on the land there. I believe that two unique groups of people with authentic values connected over that Labor Day weekend: Calwood staff and recreational tree climbers.

Thanks for making it a good experience.

Well folks? Should we return there with another rendezvous in the future? Harv? Harv???
