New guy

Hi all. Been lurking for a while and decided to say hi.

I am an American living in Germany. I live in the Pfalzwald (Palintine Forest) and there are lots of nice trees to climb here.

Believe it or not we even have seven 150 year old Sequoias nearby!! I have not climbed them yet though.

I started climbing due to the popular hobby called Geocaching. There are lots of geocaches in trees near where I live.

I use the SRT method right now since this is how I learned. The tools I use are a Petzl Navaho Bod harness, GriGri, one Petzl ascender, a micro pully, and of course caribiners.

I look forward to learning much more from this website and might even try the DRT method sometime.
