Welcome to my grove

There's a woods within walking distance, which I'm referring to as "My Grove." Since the Rendezvous, my passion for climbing has been re-lit, and so I'd like to share some of it with you. This wood is a wild place, and there are groves of beeches and oaks, as well as red maples, tulip trees, sweetgums and other hardwoods, and loblolly pines. Here are a few pics from a beech I climbed just the other day. The Big Shot makes all the difference in here. Many of the pitches are 50 or 60 feet straight up. I love this place.

There were supposed to be more images. Maybe I have to work on getting them sized right. Anyhow I'll post them by and by. There's a whole lot of exploring to do in here.

Beech are among my favorites.

In our front yard, got 3 of them that in 20 years should be big enough for you to want to climb.

It would be great if I'm still able to climb by then!
