This is the sort of documentation that helps casual climbers like myself spread the word. People think I’m nuts
until I can show them something, a brochure or a brief non technical article that shows recreational tree climbing really exists. Its not a cult thing, it’s a healthy person and/or family type of thing.
Like mountain bicycling. You can take a family ride through the park or take it to the limit by doing down-hill on a $8000.00 bike at 85 miles an hour (I think the record is 132 mph). Just like tree climbing, simply pick your point of indulgence and enjoy.
