Hello from Ioway

Hi all, just saying hi. Joined of course because I have a question but I've been lurking here and at arboristsite.com for a few months now as I'm just learning to climb. The other site's fine but often convos seem so slooow.

I started just a couple months ago w/ ddrt (blakes + foot loop + black diamond momentum harness I already had). I've been playing w/ srt this last week and really like it except for the fact that I have no hardware ascenders. I'm just gimp frogging w/ my diy foot loop (hank of rope/figure of 8/blakes/rappelling figure 8 descender).
