New guy in the FXBG area

I just wanted to say Hi to all. I am a guy in Fredericksburg va area. I am looking at possibly getting into climbing. I think it would be a fun thing to do, but I am hesistant to spend thousands to find out that it totally scares the crap out of me. I am looking around for mentors and been spending lots of time trying to learn as much as I can. I am a busy family guy so time is always at a premium. Hopefully I will enjoy this sport, and maybe one day I can make some money on the side as well. I am trying to absorb all the information about tree identification, and different ropes and etc... Any help is appreciated, looking forward to being in the trees. Hope to hear from some local climbers
