Hey!

I'm looking to leave my part-time retail job and join a landscape maintenance company often hired by my local council here in the UK. They're offering me about £30,000 a year, which is around £23,000 a year after tax . Is this a good wage? I know I could live on it fairly easily at the moment, but I'm slightly worried about how it will work if plans with the girlfriend work out, which would mean we would upsize in property a bit. Would I be able to find a higher wage elsewhere? If it helps I'm in West Oxfordshire.

Hello Adam,

I hope someone from the UK sees your question here. But most of the people who participate in these Forums are recreational climbers, and are not familiar with the wage scale for landscapers or tree workers. You might try to find a Forums for tree workers in the UK for answers to your questions.
