lanyard hitch for saddle

I've been away for awhile. No injury, just a lifestyle change. I remember a,-best i can recall, was a friction hitch to makeyourlanyardadjustable, looking alot like a small valdotain tresse made onto the D-rings of the saddle instead of hardware. Me thinks treeman made a nice illistration of it. Any one?

I use a prusik 6 coil to adjust my 2 in 1 lanyard.

Check with Tom Dunlap on the Buzzboard , he's posted photos of his implementation there in the past.

Any of the commonly used hitches that work with an eye-2-eye split tail will work. The details are in how you set up a slack tender, can't use a micropulley as would normally be done. Downside of a lanyard "hard attached" to your side D's is the use becomes limited to only one type of attachment to the tree (around the trunk) since hanging on the side D's is indeed painful.
